It all started with a wish, a dream, a lot of hope and then it happened!
For over 27 years, CCMF families and volunteers have worked tirelessly to raise funds to operate our organization. We are committed to help enrich the lives of the medically fragile in Sarnia-Lambton.
This past January of 2016, CCMF was awarded a gift from the 100 Women Who Care Sarnia-Lambton group. These monies allowed us to renovate and refurbish our respite room at Standing Oaks, making this room more inviting, comfortable and homey for our respite guests.
This past June, CCMF received monies from the Catherine Wilson Foundation of Sarnia. This will aide in the continuance of our Hands on Art program, music program and our Interactive Experience.
In March, our young Rembrandts art work was displayed at the Lawrence House, which was co-ordinated by our art director, Sue Bendall. This was great exposure for our artists and proved to be a most successful event.
These programs engage and enrich the lives of the residents at Standing Oaks and other medically fragile in our community. It helps to ensure that they all live happy lives.
Standing Oaks residents, their families, and CCMF Board of Directors are grateful to 100 Women Who Care, and the Catherine Wilson Foundation for believing in our organization. Both of these gifts have and will make a huge impact in making a difference in the lives of many of our medically fragile.
Your support has made us grow, and we thank you.
